Project Initiation


 Typical Project Initiation Process

The typical AromaTrax™ malodor or aroma profile investigation proceeds in the following step-wise fashion:

  1. Initial telephone discussion of project in general (non-proprietary) terms.
     

  2. As necessary, non-disclosure agreements put in place before more detailed discussion of sample specifics such as problem, project objective and appropriate experimental format.
     

  3. Issuance of a formal proposal, restating our understanding of the elements of the proposed project including, samples, objective, experimental approach, sample submission guidelines and project price.
     

  4. Follow-up discussions and modification of the initial proposal, if indicated.
     

  5. Issuance of a purchase requisition by the client enables Microanalytics to schedule in the project initiation time and projected turn-around time estimation. Projects are scheduled in on a first come / first served basis.
     

  6. Sample submission following the guidelines and precautions outlined in the formal proposal (see following section).
     

  7. Completion of the contracted study.
     

  8. Issuance of a final report, summarizing objective, samples, procedures, results, observations, conclusions, supporting exhibits and recommendations for optional additional work, based upon the reported findings.
